When Hiring a car with KEFALONIA RENT A CAR You will be asked to choose your Insurance Package, There are 2 choices :
1. C.D.W Insurace Coverage
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER ( CDW ) INCLUDED in all bookings FREE of Charge :
Third party insurance (C.D.W insurance) for the vehicle is provided from kefalonia rent a car for your car rental: in case of an accident, our insurance company covers the cost of the damage you have caused to another vehicle.Note: Insurance does not cover:
Any damage which may have been caused,a)while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or the influence of drugs ,b)while the car was driven by an unauthorized person,c) while the car was in movement on an unpaved road (except the 4X4 vehicles) d) while the car was engaged in car racing, e) while the car was engaged in illegal actions f)any damages to the interior of the car. g) any damages caused on purpose.η) loss or damage of the key.

2. S.C.D.W Insurance Coverage
SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (FDW) EXTRA Payment on Line or on arrival ( depending on Group of Car )
This covers the damage of the rented car and if it is driver fault with zero excess ( S.C.D.W doesn't cover for damages caused to the bottom of the car, the tires and rims.)
Note: Insurance does not cover:
Any damage which may have been caused,a)while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or the influence of drugs ,b)while the car was driven by an unauthorized person,c) while the car was in movement on an unpaved road (except the 4X4 vehicles) d) while the car was engaged in car racing, e) while the car was engaged in illegal actions f)any damages to the interior of the car. g) any damages caused on purpose.η) loss or damage of the key.

No insurance coverage applies:
If the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For damage caused by driving on unpaved roads.
For damages caused to the bottom of the car, the tires and rims.
For accidents caused by a driver not declared in the lease contract.
For accidents for which the lessee has not updated Kefalonia rent a car company and submitted an accident report, as defined by the Greek Legislation, regardless of fault.
The hirer is responsible for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to rented vehicles up to the amount of the market value at the time of accident / theft.
